Gave this to my 7 year old for Christmas, but had NO IDEA it is really and ADULT level calendar. Not only was Jan. 1 about hangover (!), but the science level is at least high school. I felt mislead from the catalog.

I was shocked by the first question concerning hangovers! I gave this calender to my 5 and 7 year old boys who love science, but this calendar is definitely for older children or teens. We are up to 1/12, but so far all the questions have been way to hard with complicated answers. I am very disappointed.

I agree with the other individual that the example does make it look easier than it really is. They need to make the questions a little easier. The first day was regarding hangovers. First I had to explain to my 11 year-old what a hangover was. It was interesting but too difficult.

The example questions in the catalog lead the shopper to believe that these are representative of the types of questions throughout the entire calendar--so I ordered it for 8-year-old children. In fact, these "fun and easy" questions are few and far between with very, very difficult questions and science concepts taking precedent. In the end, I decided not to give these as gifts and will be returning them. Susan Messina
