This was a splendid activity for my son's birthday party. However, I want to say that the description of this as an activity for 6-10 kids is patently and ridiculously misleading if you are going the birthday route. I had four kids around it, which was perfect, and you could stretch it to five. But if you're going to have more kids than can actually sit around it together, then you'll need something else for the rest to do in the meantime. For a classroom, where each kid just "digs" until securing one dinosaur, this could be OK. But for a party, I wouldn't recommend it for more than 5 kids, as they will want to excavate more than one little dinosaur each, especially if you wish this activity to take up more than five minutes (and I am not exaggerating). That stated, however, my seven year old dino-loving son and his friends really LOVED this activity. For that reason, I give it a high rating. Note, this needs to be done outside or in the garage over a sheet. What they chip off is sand!

The website said it would be available by 2/28 however, I received a letter saying it was on back order. I was very disappoint as it will not be here in time for our dinosaur unit.
