  Advice from the MuseumTour expert:
What other chance does a child have to observe a real prehistoric creature? Children will be so excited by this "pet" that they will want to learn more about prehistory, dinosaurs, and nature. This kit will also stimulate imaginations as children watch their Aquasaur swimming in a tiny fantasy world.
A household pet 250 million years in the making!

Observe the lifestyles of the wet and prehistoric at home or at school. Lively little AquasaursTM (Triops longicaudatis) have remained relatively unchanged since the Triassic period. This kit contains everything needed to set up and maintain a prehistoric-themed habitat for living, swimming Aquasaurs.

  • 1 packet of live Aquasaur eggs
  • Magnifier cap

  • 1 packet of Aquasaur food
  • Small bag of gravel
  • 2 plastic stirrers
  • Complete manual and instructions

The instructions were easy to follow. It took 4 days for the eggs to hatch. The family has enjoyed watching the aquasaurs grow and swim.

THe aquasaurs are fun but it took a while for the eggs to hatch. It was great having a dino in the house the family was excited.

The whole family has enjoyed watching the aquasaurs hatch and thrive. They took a little longer to hatch because the room temperature variations affected the tank's water temperature. We do enthusiastically give it a thumbs up.
