Kreative Komix US History
Advice from the MuseumTour expert:
Kreative Komix builds linguistic intelligence in a fun, innovative way. This program promotes creativity, writing skills, oral language, visualization, design, and sequencing skills. For the child who finds it hard to just sit down and write, this may be a great solution. This program can not only motivate children to write, it can get them truly excited about writing.
Create your own animated comics!
Our president is extremely impressed with this multimedia software program.
Through the use of interactive activities kids learn about history while creating
animated comics of the Lewis and Clark Expedition; making puppets of the founding
fathers; animating the tea falling into Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea
Party; decorating a realistic Plymouth colony house with accurate colonial furniture;
and more.
First, chose from hundreds of characters and pre-recorded sound bytes (or record
your own).
Then add in props and backgrounds to produce an incredible interactive tale.
Print out your characters and design stick puppets to use in printable puppet
show backdrops or post your comics to the Web or email them to friends!
