Be the first pirate to collect every kind of treasure and reach Dread Island. Feeling seaworthy? In advanced play, the wind will howl and only one pirate will sail away with all the treasure!

Dread Pirate^® comes in an authentic, aged wooden sea chest and is so finely crafted, old Blackbeard himself may return to steal it away. Open the weathered wooden chest and study the meticulously drawn "aged" cloth treasure map. A world of pirate battles and buried treasure surprises unfolds before you.

The game is packaged in a wooden treasure chest and includes a board in the form of an aged treasure map, three knuckle bones (dice), four treasure sacks, four diecast metal ships, one wind cube, forty-eight Dread Pirate cards, four map cards, fifty replica doubloons, 120 treasure jewels, rulebook, and captain’s log.
