Too many pieces for a child, the adult ends up doing all the putting together while the child waits without patience. Then once it is all together the item does not work very well, and it is now in the bottom of the closet (just received for Christmas) and not used since the first day.

Not only does this product not come with batteries - but it comes in many pieces and must be assembled with a tiny eye glass screwdriver. Not very fun for a child who has just opened a gift and wants to play with it right away!
