This is a fabulous kit! Each subject (volcanos, weather etc) has several experiments to perform, all inter related. I got this kit for my 4 yr. old, since I got my 7 yr. old kit 3, and the 4 yr old is actually able to do the experiment, and understand the lesons learned from each one! I am so impressed! I also love the instructions, there is s large booklet that begins with a page of parent info. and the rest of the book is written in kid friendly, easy to read step by step instructions via the "science bug". I would highly recommend these for any family, especially homeschoolers!
