Reconstruct an Historical Face from a Long-Lost Skull
If you watch today's popular crime scene investigation TV shows or historical
documentaries, you've seen the fascinating process of reconstructing a recognizable
face from a long-lost skull. These kits deliver that forensic art form into your
own hands!
You begin by placing scientifically measured pegs into pre-determined points all
around the skull. These pegs act as a guide for the depth of the clay and enable
you to sculpt lifelike muscle and flesh.
Working in layers (many call it sculpting by numbers), you build up startling
detail until a completed face is staring back at you! Teeth, even skin texture,
adds the final note of realism.
