This is so much fun for my daughter who is 9. I wasn't sure what to expect but this is great! We played together for almost an hour making silly shadows and drawing on them.

My daughter was capturing shadows of everyone and everything in the house. It works best in near complete darkness, so expect to hear giggles coming from dark rooms! Very neat toy!

This toy was a big hit till it stopped working after about an hour (battery replacement didn't help). I have an inquiry in to the company and am waiting for an answer...

I bought this YEARS ago at the Exploratorium after playing with my son (7 at the time) with the museums's version. When I was looking for Xmas gifts for my 6 year old niece, I was DELIGHTED to find it again. It brings back great memories!

It's great! Reuasable in a short amount of time. Even Jake's teenage sisters liked it! He even took pictures of our cat mid-air.

The shadow magic arrived in time for Christmas and worked great. The kids, parents and grandparents all had fun making hand shadows, face shadows, Batman and Godzilla shadows, etc. The shadows lasted just long enough and we were able to create new shadows (sometimes overlaying them) about every 10 seconds. So, if this is something you would have fun with - I wouldn't let some of those negative reviews stop you.

I ordered this item and it was temporily out of stock but more was expected. I was told they would call me if the item was not available. I have not received notice or the item.

We used the shadow magic at a birthday party for 11 year-olds, in a darkened room, and it was reusable in less than 5 minutes. The boys loved it!

Reusabel and USABLE are two different things. It is indeed resuable, but you have to wait 20 minutes to do so. Who is going to do that?

It sounds like your item possibly may be defective, Because it IS reusable and lots of customers have been happy with this product. We do care about our customers and we want nothing for them but to see them satisfied. Please remember that for any reason you may return this product within 160 days.

Nowhere on box,instructions, or product descr iption does it state that the product is reusable. I call the company and they did not seem to care. They informed me that the shadow disappears in about 30 seconds. In reality, it takes about 20 minutes for each shadow to fully disappear. I bought this to use in my classroom, but the length of time required for a shadow to disappear prohibits much hands-on interaction with numerous children.
