  More from the MuseumTour expert:
Skin is the largest sensory organ of the human body. It is sensitive to different kinds of stimuli, such as touch, pressure, and temperature. Within the skin, there are different types of receptors that are activated by different stimuli. A series of nerve impulses is triggered when a receptor is activated. To feel a stimulus, the nerve impulses must make their way up to the brain.
Sharpen Your Sense of Touch
The newly streamlined Touch Game engages players with memory and sensory perception challenges. Players identify and collect objects through their sense of touch-NO LOOKING! You put your hand into the self-adjusting opening and feel for a variety of pieces. Learn interesting "fun facts" about each play piece.

Game includes built-in timer, lighted observation window, 20 theme cards and 49 play pieces.

I like the fact that we can modify the difficulty level of play so that all my children can play, even my two year old got excited to find the items on his card. They do seem to loose interest sooner than most games, though.

The whole family played this game during our holiday get together. It was great for all ages. My only suggestion would be that you get rid of the viewing window. It's not necessary and gives cheaters to a chance to look.

We had to modify how we played the game with our 4 year old grandson, but his father thought it was a very creative game for kids.
