This is one of those cool books that kids (and adults) can just stare at for hours. The illustrations are great -- really full of color and activity, showing people in so many slice-of-life situations. I loved this kind of book when I was young, and I'm having a blast pouring over this one with my daughter. It's the kind of book that will "grow" with the child, with each new age finding something new to love in the collection of illustrations.

I was disapppointed with a few of the pages in this book. In the Ancient History section there is a whole page of nude men in the bath houses. I realize this is historical and we have studied it in our homeschool, however, I don't feel like this is appropriate material for a search and find book. The dinosaur section was also a little intense. Other than these two issues the book is just what I expected. Sincerely, D. Johnson
