I brought this set home last Christmas for my 3 grandkids so they could play together. They loved building with the set. The pieces we got were beautiful to look and it seemed like no matter what was built it looked exotic. The quality was excellent. There were a lot of pieces so they could be creative. says:
Very expensive considering the small size of the blocks and quite disappointing considering that the designs seem to be just taped on and then shellacked over. Some are wrinkled and bumpy -- not good for building. This kit is MUCH smaller than it looks. Most blocks are less than 1 inch wide.
